Clients sometimes tell me they receive a level of healing they might expect to find someplace like Sedona, or maybe in Bali, but not in the midst of the Mid-Cities suburbs of DFW.
They mention there is no one else around the area that does what I do.
And I just smile because I believe that is exactly why I’m here.
There are many of us scattered in unexpected places, quietly answering the call to serve our own communities.
Not everyone can afford to take a trip when they need healing and guidance. Not everyone can take a six month sabbatical from life to immerse themselves in a far-away spiritual sanctuary.
Some people need to fit their healing in between soccer practices and rush hour traffic. Between grocery runs and dentist appointments. Between a random Tuesday and the exhausting demands of daily life.
We need healing sanctuaries in the suburbs, too. We can’t all congregate in Sedona.
When I started my business here, I didn’t look around to see if anyone else was doing this work here successfully.
When you’re following your soul calling, there is no blueprint to copy. No market research that can validate your business plan or assure it is safe.
There’s only the quiet whisper telling you this is what you came here to do.
