Covington County Hospital Outpatient Specialty Clinic welcomes Jessica Lee, DNP, FNP-C, a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in wound care for patients of all ages, with a particular focus on geriatric care.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University in 2011 and her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization in 2014. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training through the University of Mississippi Medical Center and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Aspen University in 2024.

She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed through the Mississippi Board of Nursing. In addition, she holds certifications in wound care and excisional debridement.

Jessica is an active member of several professional and academic organizations, including the Golden Key International Honour Society, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, The National Society of Leadership and Success, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys gardening and spending time with her family, as well as her cat and dog.

“I am dedicated to helping patients with chronic and complex wounds achieve healing and improve their quality of life. I believe successful wound healing benefits not only the patient but also their families and communities. One of the most rewarding aspects of wound care is building meaningful relationships with patients through individualized, patient-centered care. I believe in partnering with patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.”

🎗The American Cancer Society predicts that by the year 2025, cancer cases in men will rise from 10.3 million to 19 million. Lung cancer is expected to become the most diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer death in men.
