Obituary for Lu Ann Morrow
Lu Ann Morrow, age 69, of Collinsville, Alabama, passed away on April 3, 2026, at DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne.
Lu Ann was born on October 19, 1956, to Charles Morrow and Betty Jean McNutt. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She cherished her family above all else and was lovingly known as “Nana” to her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cheering on Alabama football.
She is survived by her daughters, Whitney Ussery and Neely Ussery; her grandchildren, Wesley Ussery, Taylor Lamar Ussery, and Jordyn Fogle; her sister, Debra Brisendine; and other beloved family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Lu Ann was preceded in death by her father, Charles Morrow; her mother, Betty Jean McNutt; her brother, Charlie Morrow; and her aunt and uncle, Wilma and Tom Tidwell.
Pall bearers will be Wesley Ussery, Taylor Ussery, Billy Wynn, Isaac Mitchell, Gabriel Barreto, and Frederick Bloodworth.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, with visitation at 12:00 p.m. and the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Collinsville Cemetery.
