June is not a quiet month.
The sky has been building toward something, and this is the week it arrives.
On June 9, Venus and Jupiter meet in Cancer in a rare conjunction, the second time these two have come together in this sign, and the last time they will for another twelve years. Jupiter is preparing to leave Cancer, and before it goes, it is joining Venus for what feels like a closing ceremony. A gathering of the benefics. A final exhale of everything Cancer has been teaching us about emotional depth, home, belonging, and the kind of love that actually nourishes rather than depletes.
This is a genuinely expansive moment. Open to it.
But the sky doesn’t hand us softness without a counterweight. On June 10, Mercury squares Saturn, and where Venus and Jupiter invite us to feel and receive, Mercury-Saturn asks whether our words have real structure behind them. Whether our plans are grounded. Whether what we’ve been saying we’ll do is backed by actual intention. This is not a day for vague commitments or comfortable avoidance. It’s a day for honest reckoning.
The Dark Moon falls June 11-13th, the three days before the Gemini lunation, when the sky goes fully dark and the energy drops beneath the surface. This is the true void. Not a beginning. A release. These are the days for letting go of what you’ve been carrying, clearing what no longer belongs in your field, and sitting with what genuinely needs to be put down before anything new can breathe.
On June 19, Chiron enters Ta**us for the first time in decades, beginning a years-long invitation to heal our relationship with the body, the earth, and what we actually need to feel safe and sustained.
And June closes with Mercury stationing retrograde in Cancer on the 29th, a deep turning inward, a revisiting of what the heart has been circling but not yet said.
Stay close to what nourishes you. Honor the dark before the turning.
