☀️ OLD SCHOOL SUMMER ☀️
Less screen time. More childhood. 💛
This summer, let’s bring back the simple joys of childhood—bike rides, hopscotch, jump rope, sidewalk chalk, books under a tree, water balloon fights, and evenings spent outside making memories.
At Advocare Kids Care Pediatrics, we encourage families to create an “Old School Summer” with more outdoor play, movement, creativity, and connection—and a little less screen time.
Need ideas for local summer programs? Here are a few resources for families in Union County and Middlesex County to explore camps, recreation programs, and summer activities for children and teens.

* Union County Family YMCA — summer day camp for ages 5–12 with weekly themes, activities, outdoor play, and field trips.
* Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County — summer camp options for ages 5–12 plus a teen leadership camp for ages 13–15, with sports, arts/crafts, swimming, and trips.
* YM-YWHA of Union County — camp sessions plus travel-camp options and scholarship information.
Middlesex County
