Celebrating 3 years with Molly! 🎉

Over the past three years, Molly has become someone families know they can count on. She combines strong clinical knowledge with creativity and flexibility, always finding new ways to keep children engaged while helping them build meaningful communication skills.

One of the things that stands out most about Molly is the way she partners with families. She takes the time to answer questions, share ideas, and make caregivers feel like an important part of the therapy process. Her thoughtful approach, positive attitude, and ability to connect with both children and their families have made a lasting difference for so many of the people she serves.

Progress looks different for every child. 💜

Today’s feeding session focused on pacing, safe chewing, and independence while enjoying a soft, bite-sized meal. This child successfully managed multiple bites on the plate while slowing down and taking time between bites a skill we’ve been working hard to build.

A built-up utensil grip recommended by OT also supported more functional self-feeding. Collaborating across disciplines helps us provide individualized care that promotes greater independence during everyday routines.

Sometimes the biggest victories aren’t measured by how much a child eats, but by the confidence, independence, and functional skills they gain along the way.

Celebrating two years with Michelle! 🎉

Over the past two years, Michelle has been a driving force behind so much of what keeps FRPT running each day. She works tirelessly to support our patient coordination, credentialing, human resources, billing, and authorizations teams, along with all the systems in between! Even with the countless moving pieces behind the scenes, Michelle approaches every challenge with knowledge, organization, and a calm, steady presence. No matter what comes her way, she is always willing to jump in, find a solution, and support those around her, making even the busiest days feel a little more manageable.

Beyond everything she accomplishes behind the scenes, Michelle brings so much kindness and compassion to her work. She supports our therapists with patience and thoughtful guidance, and she helps families navigate challenges with genuine care. Whether she’s stepping in to resolve an urgent situation or simply taking the time to listen, Michelle has a way of making people feel heard, supported, and valued. OT in Action!

Therapy doesn’t always happen at a table, it often looks like play! Today our OT session became a treasure hunt, with hidden objects encouraging movement, exploration, and problem-solving.

While having fun, our kiddo was working on:
💪 Upper body and core strength
🤲 Reaching outside the base of support
🖐️ Shoulder stability and upper extremity weight-bearing
✋ Bilateral coordination
👀 Visual scanning and visual attention
🧠 Motor planning and problem-solving
⚖️ Balance and postural control
📍 Body awareness (proprioception)
🎯 Sustained attention and task persistence

Every hidden treasure was another opportunity to build the strength, coordination, and confidence needed for everyday life skills.
