𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭. 𝐀𝐰𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

I've spoken at women's events on this before and I call it the "Salty Sistership" but it often begins with 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭. 𝐀𝐰𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

When you take a deep breath, walk up to a woman you think would be an awesome potential friend and literally, point-blank-kind-of-way, say "I think we should be friends" and then you wait for a response. 😳

spoke at a women's retreat I attended a few years back. I went to the retreat not really knowing anyone, I had just moved to the state and was a bit 9a lot) friendless at the time. When the retreat was coming to a close and she finished her last session, I lingered, walked up to her, asked to talk and said "I think we should be friends" and waited for her response.

– Do you remember this? 🤣

I cannot count how many times I have done this to people. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. 🤷‍♀️

But with those it does, those are my types of people. 💃🏼

And here we are 2 years later and I am in full support of her adventures and she mine. Women supporting women without competition, but through faith and with integrity, relationship, and courage.

This is Theo.
He loves hugs.
And I love him 💛

I also love Phoebe and all the other horses I’ve met in the past month.

Apparently, I have had an uncovered love of horses that was never tapped into. This past month I have been to 3 separate equine therapy facilities in 2 different states (CO and ID) and am OBSESSED! 😍

So excited to begin learning and volunteering at a local Equine assisted learning facility this coming week.

This path was unexpected, but so needed. The benefits to my mental health and to the individuals these horses come into contact with is immeasurable!
