Today was about movies, snacks, and good vibes with our amazing clients with the support of our wonderful RBTs & BCBAs!

Sometimes the best days are the ones filled with lots of laughs, yummy snacks, and a good movie! The kiddos had so much fun on their outing, these little moments are what really matter to us. 🥹

Hello everyone! 🤗 Here are some pictures from our outing today! ☀️

Our clients and staff had such a wonderful time on their outing to Rock Ledge Ranch!

It was a beautiful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, explore the surroundings, and see so many amazing animals up close. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and making special memories together. We love creating opportunities for our clients to experience new places, enjoy the community, and have fun outside of the center.

A big thank you to our amazing staff for making the outing so enjoyable and memorable! We can’t wait for more adventures together!

Today, we’re excited to take a moment and show off and celebrate our amazing staff who got nominated for ✨ Therapist of the Month! ✨

We are so grateful for the dedication, compassion, and positive energy they bring to Adventure Learning Center every day. Their hard work makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve, and we truly appreciate everything they do!

She will be working in clinic alongside our other amazing BCBAs and will be here to support our clients growth and success.

ABA Education: Sensory Seeking! 🤗

Have you ever noticed a child constantly moving, jumping, chewing, making loud sounds, or seeking out certain textures? .. They may be sensory seeking!

Sensory seeking behaviors can be a way for the brain to get the input it needs to feel regulated and ready to learn. Instead of thinking, “How do we stop the behavior?” we can ask, “What sensory need are they needing to regulate?”

Providing safe sensory tools such as movement breaks, chewy’s, crash pad, sensory swing, trampoline, activities plus more that match their needs can help children feel supported during this time!

April is Autism Awareness Month 💙��At our center, we all go beyond awareness! we strive for understanding, acceptance, and meaningful support for every client we have. Autism is not a one-size-fits-all journey. Each child brings unique strengths, perspectives, and new ways of experiencing the world, and honestly we should all be honored to be a part of their growth. 🥹��Through ALC we focus on building communication, independence, and life skills in a way that is compassionate and individualized. Every small step forward is worth celebrating, and every voice deserves to be heard and I believe our team really brings that to the table for all of our clients. ��This month and every month after we have high hopes that we all can celebrate the unique differences that should be embraced all the time and where every client is given the opportunity to thrive not only in our care at ALC but also out in the big world 🌎 ��Thank you all for all your hard work, dedication and effort you bring every day.
