4 years of Atlas Behavior Consulting 🎈

Four years ago, Atlas was a dream fueled by passion, purpose, and the belief that we could do things differently. Today, that dream is a community of extraordinary humans making a difference in children’s lives every single day.

Our greatest pride isn’t how much we’ve grown. It’s WHO we’ve grown with. A team that leads with heart, believes fiercely in every child’s potential, and pours so much of themselves into work that truly matters. What we’ve built together is something incredibly special.

To the families who have trusted us with their most precious humans, to those who believed in our vision before it was anything more than a dream, and to everyone who has helped bring Atlas to life—thank you for giving this dream meaning beyond anything we could have imagined. Your trust is our greatest privilege.

Four years of growth, challenges, breakthroughs, and moments that remind us exactly why we started.

And the most exciting part? We’re only beginning to see what’s possible.

🎃👻 Halloween is for EVERYONE! 💛

Costumes, candy, trick-or-treating, and a little Halloween magic look different for every child, and that’s something worth celebrating! ✨

At Atlas, we believe every child deserves to experience the joy of childhood in a way that feels safe, comfortable, and accessible to them. Whether that means using an AAC device or ASL to say “trick or treat,” accommodating sensory needs, creating accessible activities, or celebrating a child who participates in their own unique way, inclusion means making room for everyone.

Equality gives everyone the same thing. Equity recognizes that we all have different needs and provides the support to help everyone participate.

We take so much pride in celebrating all abilities, honoring individuality, and supporting humans exactly as they are. Because Halloween isn’t about how you dress up, how you communicate, or how you participate; it’s about making sure everyone gets to experience a little bit of the magic. 🧡🦇🎃

We’re officially a BLS + QMAP training facility, and we’re so excited to bring these trainings to our community!

As Pride Month comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on why it matters.

Pride exists to honor the history, resilience, and progress of the LGBTQ+ community while recognizing that everyone deserves to feel safe, accepted, and free to be themselves.

So what does that have to do with ABA?

Everything.

As ABA providers, we have the privilege of working with children and families from many different backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Creating an environment where people feel welcomed, respected, and valued isn’t separate from providing quality care, it’s an essential part of it.

At Atlas, we believe every child deserves to learn in a space where they feel safe, every family deserves to feel supported, and every team member deserves to know they belong. We celebrate diversity not just during Pride Month, but every day, because inclusion, compassion, and acceptance are at the heart of who we are.

Faces of Atlas: June Feature! This month we’re highlighting Jiliana! 💫

Over the past year and a half, Jiliana has become a great asset to our Atlas family. As one of our Lead RBTs and a member of our Floor Support and RBT Training Team, they lead with kindness, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others grow.

Their calm energy, clinical knowledge, and dedication to creating a safe, supportive environment make a lasting impact on both our patients and our team. We are so grateful for everything Jiliana brings to Atlas each day and are lucky to have them helping shape the next generation of RBTs. 💛

💛 Today, and everyday, we honor and celebrate Juneteenth.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when enslaved people in Texas finally learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. It is a day to recognize the significance of freedom, reflect on our shared history, and celebrate the strength, resilience, culture, and contributions of Black Americans.

At Atlas, we believe our differences make us stronger. Every child, family, and team member brings unique experiences, perspectives, and stories that enrich our community. We are committed to creating a space where people feel welcomed, respected, valued, and safe to be themselves.

Celebrating diversity isn’t something we do on just one day, it is woven into how we care for our patients, support our families, and show up for one another. Juneteenth serves as an important reminder that inclusion, belonging, and equal opportunity matter, and that we all have a role in helping create communities where everyone can thrive.

In observance of Juneteenth, Atlas is closed today as we take time to reflect, learn, celebrate, and honor the importance of this day.
