I get it and it is completely normal to assume that everything used during microneedling has to be sterile. Most of us naturally think that way, of course ! Nevertheless 🙂 the important thing to understand is that sterile is a regulatory claim. It is not a synonym for safe, effective, or appropriate for microneedling. Likewise, a product that is not labeled sterile is not automatically unsafe. Lift HG is a hydrogel wound dressing that is included as part of the FDA cleared SkinPen treatment kit and is intended specifically for use during the procedure.

Understanding what these terms mean is important for safety across the board 🤍 Not because it’s sterile does it make it safe and not because it’s non-sterile does it make it unsafe 🫶🏻
