My name is Amanda Batterbee, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 26 years of clinical experience and more than 16 years specializing in psychiatry.

At North Springs Psychiatry, I believe mental health care should be compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, ketamine therapy, and second opinions for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and other mental health conditions.

Hi everyone! I’m Amanda Batterbee, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of advanced practice experience and more than 20 years in nursing. I’m passionate about making mental health care approachable, inclusive, and supportive for people from all walks of life. I offer diagnostic evaluarions, medication management, second opinions, and affordable treatment with ketamine.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals through a wide range of challenges—from anxiety and depression to trauma, mood disorders, and complex mental health needs. My goal is always to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel truly heard, respected, and supported in your journey toward wellness.

The new Tricare West continues to impact providers and beneficiaries. Here is the latest report - we will not stop fighting against the chaos that TriWest has caused!

Providers around the country continue to face the risk of closures due to the failures of TriWest Healthcare Alliance and TRICARE. Military families can no longer access primary or specialty care. Claims processing is still not working. No payments made. No updates on timelines for resolution. This is absolutely unacceptable. The Defense Health Agency has done nothing to alleviate provider concerns and closures of clinics. Many providers (including ours) have dedicated our professional lives to caring for the military and now are left hanging with no recourse. Wait times to talk to a customer service reps are 2-3 hours. And customer service reps have no answers. Grievances have to be submitted by snail mail. Please continue making your voices heard.
