What a PAW-some day at our Paws & Pints event! 🐾🍻

🐶 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us on Friday and helped make this event such a wonderful success. We were thrilled to welcome so many guests, residents, and of course, our four-legged friends! From homemade dog treats, pup cups, snacks for the humans, of course ice cold beer, and other refreshments there was something for everyone to enjoy. 👍

🎵 The music was flowing thanks to our DJ, and the afternoon was filled with smiles, dancing, singing, laughter, and plenty of tail wags. A BIG thank you to everyone who supported Freedom Service Dogs! Your generosity helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and the incredible dogs who serve them. We loved seeing our community come together for an afternoon of fun, friendship, and furry companions. Thank you for helping us create such a memorable event—we can’t wait to do it again! 😄

Paws and Pints 🐾🍺

We hope you can join us on Saturday, June 13, from 1-4 p.m. Come enjoy the beautiful weather, bring your 4-legged friend, or just enjoy the ones that will be here. 🦮😎

We will have music, food, refreshments, cold beer, doggie treats and photo opportunities for you and your dog. 📸 The event is FREE, but we will be accepting donations for a good cause: Freedom Service Dogs! Please call with any questions. We hope to see you here! 🐶

🫡 For Memorial Day, residents visited Pikes Peak National Cemetery to place Flags of Honor in remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

Our Memorial Day BBQ was a wonderful celebration filled with great food, fun, and patriotic spirit. 🇺🇸 Residents and families enjoyed hot dogs with all the fixings, sweet cotton candy, and a special visit from the ice cream truck. 🌭🍦 We also had live patriotic music that brought everyone together as we remembered and honored those who served our country. ❤️🤍💙

🐾 Pet of the Month 🐾

🐶 Arf! Arf! Arf! My name is Sparky, and I am a Cairn Terrier (well, mostly, that is). I'm 6 years old. I have beautiful brown eyes and one ear that folds down. My mom, Kathleen, claims that I listen to only half of what she says since my ear flops down. She rescued me from the Humane Society when I was only 1 year old, and for that I'm grateful. 🏡 I was happier when she decided to select The Inn at Garden Plaza as our home. I have met a lot of wonderful people who make me feel welcome!

Kathleen is a good Mom. I love to hang out at the dog park, so stop by and I will be pleased to let you scratch my fold-down ear! 😁

🚒 In honor of First Responder Month and International Firefighter Day (May 4), our residents put together some thoughtful goodie boxes filled with snacks to thank our firefighter neighbors for their service and dedication to the community.🧑‍🚒👏
