Lovelies, welcome to the NEW 42 Klicks Chiropractic! When businesses get a new look, the tagline usually goes something like, "new look, same quality". Let's be real. This is not the same 42 Klicks from 2016 and I am not the same Dr. J. Your girl has evolved and it was time for my branding to do the same! HUGE, HUGE shout out to my girl, Dr. Erica of Dr. Erica | Your Chiropractic Graphic Designer! I was a HUGE pain in the butt and gave her a run for her money, but she rose to the occasion, and produced something that is not only beautiful, but me! Things are changing around here and I am not just talking about the branding! So, hold on tight lovelies because more things are coming your way!

Which brings me to my next addition! I am officially certified in dry needling! It doesn't mean I just get to add more letters to my name. It means treatment options are expanding. Love it or hate it (I hate it) it is effective, and has been added to the booking menu for your booking pleasure!

I have been a business owner for a decade! In my head, that sounds crazy to me. I won't say that it feels like yesterday that I started out all wide-eyed and bushy-tailed because that would be a big fat lie. It has been a long road. A road filled with laughter, tears, frustration, defeat, and the constant hustle. Some days I want to throw up my hands and quit, but then I tear up thinking about all of you and how this is what I am meant to do, and the Universe refuses to let me do anything else. So, here we are at year 10. I have learned so much, and I know many more lessons are coming my way. Your girl is exhausted, but excited about all of the possibilities and the changes that are coming. Lovelies, thank you for joining me on this crazy journey and continuing to root me on and be in my corner. Some of you have been with me since the very beginning, and some have just jumped on this ride. No matter where you fall, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of my story!

June is a busy month around here, but today, today we celebrate this handsome guy! Y'all, all my babies are special, but this is one for the BOOKS! Mama comes waddling in at 38 weeks and 2 days with sciatic pain, and just over being pregnant. She gets adjusted and waddles to the bathroom while her husband gets adjusted. Comes back in the room, sits down, and is laughing, and joking like usual. They leave to go to her OB appointment and I get a call maybe an hour or two later that I broke her water. Now, let's back up. So apparently, her water broke after being adjusted and she waddled to the bathroom, but she said NOTHING! Chiropractic can cause you to go into labor, but this is a first for me! Welcome to the world Miss Lila! I think this makes us bonded ❤️

Look at those babies! On this day in 2018, on a random Monday, on a whim, we met at the DMV (sexy, I know), and got our marriage license. With only two people present we sat around Tyler's coffee table, laughed, joked, his friend said some words, and we put our signatures on the line. It was nothing fancy. No bells and whistles. Just two people embarking on a crazy adventure. This is the only picture of that day.

We have done things our way even when others don't quite understand, but that is just who we are. Two crazy people marching to the beat of our own drum. It has been eight wild years, and we are still doing things our own way. Here is to more love, passion, adventures, and sitting by each other in silence! Love you my little chiltepin ❤️

Are you feeling festive this holiday season…or is it more like “I swear if one more person asks me to bring a side dish…”? 😅

If the answer is the latter, then your nervous system may just be a little dysregulated, aka feral, fried, or running purely on gingerbread lattes.

And yes… when your nervous system is finally regulated...
You actually enjoy things again.
You feel grounded.
You stop picking fights with your Christmas tree.
