🐾 FAQ FRIDAY WITH FRANK! 🐾

“How often do I need to come to physical therapy?”

Frank may vote for every day—mostly because he’s hoping you bring treats. 😄 But your physical therapist will create a treatment plan based on your injury, goals, progress, and individual needs.

For many patients, that means 1–2 visits per week, with a personalized home program to keep progress moving between appointments.

At Red Rocks Physical Therapy, we believe great physical therapy isn’t about simply scheduling more visits—it’s about making every visit count.

And yes… Frank will be supervising. 🐕‍🦺💻

🐾 FAQ FRIDAY WITH FRANK 🐾

“Do I really need to do my exercises at home?”

Frank reviewed the evidence, consulted the experts, adjusted his glasses… and unfortunately, the answer is YES. 😂

Your time in physical therapy is important—but what you do between visits matters too. Your home exercise program helps reinforce the work you’re doing in the clinic, build strength and mobility, and keep you moving toward your goals.

At Red Rocks Physical Therapy, we believe great care can be expert, personalized, and still have a little personality.

And when in doubt… Frank says do your exercises. 🐶

“Lumbago” sounds like a diagnosis—but it’s actually an older term for low-back pain.
Back pain can involve aching, stiffness, muscle spasms, or limited movement, and the cause may differ from person to person. A thorough physical therapy evaluation can help identify the factors affecting your movement and guide a personalized recovery plan.
At Red Rocks Physical Therapy, we combine education, progressive exercise, and hands-on care when appropriate—all through personalized, one-on-one treatment.
Save this post for later and share it with someone experiencing back pain.

Migraine is more than a headache—it’s a neurological condition that can affect concentration, movement, work, exercise, driving, and time with family.

Symptoms may include head or neck pain, nausea, fatigue, brain fog, and sensitivity to light, sound, or smell.

Proper medical evaluation is important. When neck pain or movement limitations are also present, physical therapy may complement a broader care plan through education, gentle manual therapy, graded exercise, and dry needling when clinically appropriate.

At Red Rocks Physical Therapy, every treatment plan is personalized to the individual.

🐾 FAQ Friday with Frank!

One of the questions we hear all the time: “What should I wear to my physical therapy appointment?”

Frank recommends fur. We recommend something a little more practical. 😄

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and gives your physical therapist easy access to the area being evaluated or treated. Athletic clothes, shorts, leggings, and a comfortable T-shirt are all great options.

At Red Rocks Physical Therapy, we want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk through the door — while receiving expert, personalized care designed to get you moving and feeling your best.

And yes… Frank takes his role as clinic advisor very seriously. 🐕👓

Pelvic floor health can influence support, bladder and bowel control, comfort, and movement—but pelvic health care is never one-size-fits-all.

Pelvic health physical therapy begins with a private evaluation. Depending on the individual, care may include education, breathing and coordination strategies, mobility or strengthening exercises, relaxation techniques, and hands-on treatment when appropriate.

Red Rocks Physical Therapy provides private, one-on-one pelvic health care guided by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Every treatment plan is designed around the individual’s needs and goals.

To learn whether pelvic health physical therapy may be appropriate for you, visit redrockspt.com or call (719) 313-9466.
