We're excited to announce the arrival of our next batch of meat birds! Since our previous flock was so well received, we've decided to continue raising meat chickens for our local customers who value wholesome, quality meat raised with care.

Every flock is cared for with fresh air, clean bedding, nutritious feed, and plenty of daily attention. We're grateful for the opportunity to provide food you can feel good about serving your family.

The garden may not look like much now, but there are a couple of plants hidden in there that I've got high hopes for! We'll see how this season goes with my late start and less than ideal germination rate (I believe my straw mulch was too thick and kept the soil too cool). 🌱

With this being the first season growing in this location, I'll be happy with a few zucchini and some pumpkins! 🎃 I'm going to get my cool season plants started now so I'm not too late for the cool season!🥦🥬🫛

My favorite part of the chèvre making process - scooping out the cheese curds and getting the first glimpse of the soft goat cheese. 🥯

Every batch starts with fresh milk from our goats and is carefully crafted right here on our family farm. 🐐

We have a few of these beautiful whole chickens still available — each one weighing at around 5.5 lbs and raised right here on our family farm with fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of care. ❤️

Our chicken supply is limited, but we have several other farm-fresh products available for this Sunday's delivery, including chicken eggs, duck eggs, and our Herdshare creamery products made from our goats' milk.

What can we bring to your doorstep next Sunday?

For those who use GPS tracking collars for their LGDs, how do you handle charging their collars?

Currently, we tuck everyone in the barn at night and take the collars off for the night, charge them in the morning and they're functional for the day (we charge the collars every day).

Once we build the dog houses, we'll want our pups to be able to roam around all night. The issues I've faced are finding the best time to charge the collars (without worrying they'll lose charge at 3am) and giving the dogs a significant break from wearing the collars.
