Prevailing Towards Redemption had the honor to present what we do as a organization and how we can help the justice system and support clients of the Public Denfenders Office. No pictures were allowed but it was a honor to share my personal journey and experience from knowing what its like on the other side being judged by your past and seen as another case number BUT now this side of the fence standing in front of people who denfend people i once was and how PTR can help bridge that gap for people struggling in our community in the justice system. I used to be part of the problem...now ...GOD allows me be apart of the solution.
Thank you Public Denfenders Office for allowing us to share our mission and vision.

*****ATTENTION*****
We need your help, this pic is of an order I make every two weeks or less from Walmart:
50 frozen meals and 4 boxes of Cup of Noodles LASTS US A WEEK (do the math)

Our donation closet is pretty empty these days:
Something as simple of a stained T-Shirt washed will make anyone’s day who hasn’t had a clean shirt in a week. Old socks work too, as long as they are not missing some toes. Any and all sizes are needed! If you see a yard-sale with a ton of clothes message me I will try to negotiate a deal. Clearance racks that can’t be beat? Let me know keep in mind that the cold weather is creeping in as well…
I know some people don’t want to help because you think it’s enabling or the famous “get a job line” but I can attest that most of our clients were successful in this same city we call home.
A few scenarios I will share:
*had a business (verified) Partner stole all equipment and cleaned the account, left town WITH THIS MANS WIFE Size 13 shoe
*DV Victim bused here and is terrified to get an ID because her abuser is looking for her, was at a safe house that he showed up to Size XL T-Shirt
*19 Foster care his whole life got to old for the system to help Size 32 Jeans
Food
Water
Hygiene
Each one of these HUMANS didn’t create their circumstances by drug use or simply “being lazy” We will do the footwork to help them, but we need your help with necessities.

Gossip is one of the fastest ways to destroy everything around you. It spreads like a virus through friendships, families, churches, workplaces, and communities.
One person whispers it. Another person repeats it. Before long, trust is broken, relationships are damaged, and division is everywhere.
If it doesn’t build, heal, correct with love, or bring truth...don’t carry it!!!
Stop the virus. Stop the gossip. Protect the people around you.

GLORY TO GOD!!!! 1 YEAR 👏 👏 👏

09/25/2026

🎉 HAPPY ONE YEAR, PREVAILING TOWARDS REDEMPTION! 🎉

One year ago, PTR stepped into this community with a mission: meet people where they are, love them without judgment, and help them move toward a different future.

Today, we want to say THANK YOU. ❤️

Because of our community, donors, volunteers, partners, staff, peer coaches, and everyone who has believed in this mission, in just ONE YEAR we have been blessed to provide:

🍽️ 5,000+ meals
👕 More than 7 TONS of clothing
🧥 200+ blankets
🧦 Countless socks
🧼 Countless hygiene products

But PTR is about more than meeting immediate needs. It is about helping people rebuild their lives.

In our first year:

🐝 192 clients served
💼 83 people found employment
🎓 61 completed a certificate program
🪪 43 obtained their ID
🚗 7 obtained their driver’s license
🏠 2 individuals completely exited DOC involvement and are now WORKING and LIVING IN THEIR OWN HOMES!

Those aren’t just numbers.

Those are PEOPLE.
Those are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and members of our community who were given an opportunity to keep moving forward.

And every single day, another 10–15 people experiencing homelessness walk through our doors just to get something to eat.

That is why we are asking:

🚨 COMMUNITY — WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🚨

Our goal for Year Two is BIG:

🔥 LET’S DOUBLE IT. 🔥

Double the meals.
Double the resources.
Double the opportunities.
Double the lives reached.

We need food, clothing, socks, hygiene products, blankets, financial donations, community partners, employers willing to give someone a chance, and volunteers willing to serve.

No donation is too small. No act of kindness is insignificant.

When a community comes together, REDEMPTION becomes more than a word—it becomes something we get to witness.

From everyone at Prevailing Towards Redemption (PTR):

THANK YOU for an incredible first year.

We couldn’t have done it without you.

🐝❤️ YEAR TWO — LET’S DOUBLE IT! ❤️🐝

WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Donate. Volunteer. Partner. Share. Hire. Serve.

Together, let’s keep PREVAILING TOWARDS REDEMPTION.

At Prevailing Towards Redemption, recovery is bigger than just getting sober...it’s learning how to LIVE, SERVE and GIVE BACK. 🙏
We serve our community because somebody once took the time to serve us. We reach back, lift others up, and show people that their past does not disqualify their purpose.
We don’t just talk about change. We LIVE it. We SERVE it. We GIVE IT BACK.
❤️ WE ARE PTR FAMILY. ✝️ Jesus is King.

COURAGE TO GET SOBER.
It takes courage to finally say, “I need help.”
Courage to put the bottle down.
Courage to walk away from the dope.
Courage to cut off the people, places, and things keeping you chained.
Courage to face the pain you’ve been running from.
Getting sober doesn’t make you weak. It means you got tired of dying.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need enough courage to take that first step.
At Prevailing Towards Redemption , we’ll walk with you. No judgment. No pretending. Just real people, real recovery, and a God who still redeems broken lives.
Be courageous enough to choose LIFE.
Be courageous enough to change.
Be courageous enough to say, “I’m ready.”
