I was approved by the state of Colorado today as a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate—I have letters behind my name and I couldn’t be more excited!

What a journey it has been to finally be waiting on my candidate license!
✅ Practicum Semester 2020
❌ Just kidding… COVID while living abroad (whole other story, ask me about it sometime).
✅ Move to CO where I connect with the lovely Jenny Coffey & complete…
✅ Practicum Semester 2023
✅ Internship Semester x2 (shout out to my girl KC Irvin-Mantravadi for coming in clutch and letting me sit in with her to fulfill those last needed hours—fellow therapists, IYKYK).

What now? Due to the unconventional proceeding of my credentials, I am now waiting on the Center for Credentialing & Education to approve my application so that I can proceed to applying for state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC).

I can’t wait to get back to my clients ASAP! *Sigh* but I suppose I will wait nonetheless.
