The journey wasn’t easy. It started with years of undergraduate studies, followed by medical school, a family medicine residency, then making the decision to pursue a second residency in dermatology. Eventually, that journey led me to opening my own practice.
People often ask if I would choose a different path knowing how much time, sacrifice, and hard work it required.
My answer is always the same: absolutely not.
Being a physician is more than a career—it’s a privilege. Every day I have the opportunity to care for my patients, celebrate their successes, support them through difficult moments, and build relationships that often span years. Hearing about their families, watching children grow up, and earning their trust is an honor I never take for granted.
If I had to do it all over again, I would choose this journey every single time.
