Our residents know that a good book can bring back memories, spark conversations, and take you on an adventure without ever leaving your chair.

Our residents tried a new twist on a classic matching game on Friday! They had a great time testing their memory, challenging each other, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Who says exercising your brain can't be fun? Our residents certainly know how to make it enjoyable!

Our residents at Oak Pointe celebrated with everyone's favorite classic, homemade cheese pizza! Nothing beats good food, great company, and lots of smiles around the table.

Our residents definitely enjoyed every cheesy bite and had a wonderful time sharing a delicious meal together!

It’s a beautiful day outside, despite the heat, and the flowers are blooming beautifully!

Take a moment to admire the colorful blooms and soak in the beauty of nature all around us. There’s something special about slowing down and appreciating the simple beauty of the season.

On Friday the 28th, we headed out for a fun-filled day in Middlebury and Shipshewana!

Our first stop was lunch at Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury. Our residents enjoyed everything from chicken and noodles and the all-you-can-eat buffet to coconut cream pie and ice cream. After lunch, we visited the bakery and gift shop, where there were plenty of delicious pies, cookies, breads, and donuts to admire!

Next, we headed over to Dutch Creek Farm Animal Park in Shipshewana. Our residents had a wonderful time getting up close to the animals and even had the opportunity to feed them. We saw camels, pigs, lambs, ducks, deer, goats, buffalo, ostriches, and so much more, including a zorse, which is half horse and half zebra!

It was a wonderful day filled with great food, animals, laughter, and memories. We are so glad our residents had such a fun adventure!

We thought we’d share a few more photos from our Car Show on August 20th!

What a fun day filled with beautiful cars, great memories, and plenty of smiles. A big thank-you to everyone who brought out their cars and helped make the day so special for our residents.

We sure enjoyed admiring all those wheels, and our residents absolutely loved it! It was a wonderful day that we will remember for a long time.

Beautiful weather calls for a meal outside! Our residents enjoyed some fresh air, sunshine, good food, and even better company. Sometimes, the simplest moments make for the best days!

What a perfect day for some fun at Center Lake!

Our residents enjoyed the beautiful weather, fresh air, and time together by the water. It was the perfect way to spend a summer day, making memories, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying every minute of the season.

We are grateful for these special moments and the opportunity to enjoy summer together!

A Step Back in Time!

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to the Whitley County Historical Museum, where they had the opportunity to learn more about local history and the life of Thomas R. Marshall.

Thomas R. Marshall was the 28th Vice President of the United States, serving from 1913 to 1921 under President Woodrow Wilson. Before becoming Vice President, Marshall served as the 27th Governor of Indiana.

It was a wonderful day filled with history, learning, conversation, and making special memories with our residents. We are grateful for opportunities like this that allow our residents to explore the community and enjoy new experiences together.

Slow movements, deep breaths, and a little exercise to start the day!

Our residents enjoyed Tai Chi, a wonderful way to work on balance, flexibility, and relaxation while spending time together. It was a great way to start the day with movement, mindfulness, and fun!
