Environmental Services Week Spotlight: Zach Shellman!

Today, we’re celebrating Zach, our Maintenance Assistant!

Zach is part of our Environmental Services team and assists the department with a variety of maintenance-related tasks that help keep our facility running smoothly. From lending a hand with day-to-day projects to tackling tasks behind the scenes, Zach helps make sure the job gets done!

When he’s not helping out around the facility, Zach enjoys sushi, kayaking, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. That’s a pretty great combination!

National Environmental Services Week Spotlight: Bret Berkes!

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible people who keep our facility safe, functional, and running smoothly. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on our Maintenance Supervisor, Bret!

Bret plays a vital role in keeping our campus in tip-top shape. From ensuring building codes and fire safety requirements are met and maintained to tackling repairs as they arise and completing campus-wide preventative maintenance, Bret is always working behind the scenes to keep things running safely and efficiently.

We’re grateful for his dedication, problem-solving skills, and commitment to keeping our facility at its best!

And when he’s not keeping the campus in working order, you can probably find Bret enjoying ’80s rock, a good Chinese buffet, or a slice of peanut butter pie.

We spent the afternoon enjoying a picnic with friends, breathing in the fresh air, and taking in all the little moments that made the day special. One of our favorite highlights was watching the birds and squirrels along the way.
