Here is your Monday Meandering friends! We are continuing this month’s theme of freedom. No matter the stage of our recovery there is freedom to be found if we are willing to seek it!
Freedom through honesty!
How has being honest with yourself and others created more peace and freedom in your life?
Freedom through surrender!
How has surrender brought freedom instead of defeat?

Just a reminder there will be NO journaling or women’s peer group at the REC this week! We will be back next week!

What theme could be more suitable for July than freedom? This month, our journaling and women's groups will focus on exploring themes of liberation and personal growth, moving beyond our past. Here is this week's Monday Meandering:

-What does freedom mean to me?
What comes to mind when you hear this word? How has your definition changed since beginning recovery?

- Breaking the Chains!
What unhealthy habits, beliefs , or behaviors are you working to break free from? What progress have you already made?

Happy Fourth of July from all of us at the Mission 25 Recovery Engagement Center!!🎆Today is about celebrating freedom. For many of us in the recovery community, it also means celebrating our freedom from addiction and the chance to build a brighter, healthier future.Holiday weekends can bring extra pressure, loud triggers, and stressful social settings. Remember that your peace and sobriety always come first. You do not have to navigate today alone.
Quick Tips for a Safe Fourth:
Bring backup: Attend gatherings with a sober friend.
Have an exit plan: Drive your own car so you can leave early if needed.
Keep a drink in hand: Hold a non-alcoholic beverage so people do not offer you a drink.
Call a lifeline: Reach out to your sponsor, a recovery peer, or our team if you feel overwhelmed.
Have a safe, joyful, and connected holiday! ❤️💙🤍

It’s Monday and it’s time to make it meaningful!! Here is your Monday Meandering…What do you believe “beginning again” means? And is it the same thing as starting over?

Recovery is not meant to do alone, which is why we need a recovery community. Celebrate Recovery (led by the local church, The Warehouse) has been a place for community for the last 7 years🥹 We are grateful for all they have done for the recovery community and helping people heal from hurts, habits and hang-up’s. We applaud them for recognizing that their leaders also need community and support👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

As they rebuild CR, we hope that you will sign-up for a Step Study! Step Studies dig deep and it’s a time to build your intentional community. Keep an eye out for those sign-up sheets.

Also remember, the 25 REC offers multiple pathways of recovery groups throughout the week, recovery events on a monthly basis, as well as peer recovery coaching for free. Please reach out to us in your lowest and highest recovery points. We are not meant to do recovery alone…. Let’s do it together 🫶

It's with heavy heart to announce that Celebrate Recovery at The Warehouse will be taking a break for the next several months.
Sunday, June 28th at 6 PM is our last meeting.
There have been many factors to this but most have been the leadership team is burned out after 7 years.
But there's hope - and we are praying for this!
STEP STUDY - Beginning in August watch for a sign up here to jump into a Step Study for both men and women which will begin in September and last through December.
LEADERSHIP - We are currently looking for leadership of this program which requires a step study to be qualified. Begin praying now if you would like to be part of the newest team that will be assembled by the end of the year. The goal is to be back January 2027.
We really implore you to consider and pray about being part of the future team and joining a Step Study in September. Even though this has been a Warehouse outreach, (and will continue to be) we strongly desire to reach across all boundaries with churches and have a team assembled of all people, no matter what congregation you call home.
FINALLY - If you are struggling with something, please contact us here and one of our current leaders will get back to you.
We look forward to getting to know you!
