📣 Veterans’ voices matter.

Yesterday, Columbia VA Health Care System hosted a Veterans Town Hall at the Pickens County Center for the Performing Arts, bringing Veterans and VA leadership together for an open conversation about VA health care, programs and services.

Veterans had the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback and hear directly from VA leaders about the resources available to them.

These conversations are an important part of our commitment to listening to Veterans and continually improving the care and services we provide.

Thank you to all the Veterans, family members, community partners and VA staff who joined us! 🇺🇸

Today, the Columbia VAHCS celebrated the health, well-being and camaraderie of our nation’s Veterans during our Male Veteran Health Fair!

The event featured keynote speaker Trevor Meyer, CEO and Co-Founder of , who brought Veterans together for an engaging drum session and shared an important message about the healing power of music, connection and shared experiences.

Veterans also had the opportunity to connect with VA staff and learn more about the many health care, wellness and support services available through the Columbia VAHCS. And, thanks to an on-site barber, Veterans could even leave the event with a fresh haircut!

From music and fellowship to health education and wellness resources, today was a great reminder that Veteran health is about more than treating illness — it’s about building connection, resilience and community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today’s event a success, and especially to the Veterans who joined us!

🥁 Finding the rhythm of connection at the CLC!

Today, Veterans in our Community Living Center had the opportunity to take part in a Warrior Beat drum circle led by Trevor Meyer, Navy Veteran and CEO/co-founder of Warrior Beat.

Through rhythm, music and a whole lot of energy, Trevor helped create an afternoon centered around connection, teamwork and having some fun together. For our Veterans, it was more than just making music—it was an opportunity to engage, participate and share an experience with one another.

We’re grateful to Trevor and Warrior Beat for bringing their time, talent and passion to our Veterans! 🇺🇸🥁
