“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous step.”
— Mariska Hargitay

Healing isn’t a straight line. Some days feel easier than others, and that’s okay. Reaching out for support is not a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of strength.

“You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you.”
— Dan Millman

Sometimes our minds convince us that every thought deserves our attention. The truth is, thoughts are not facts. Learning to observe them without judgment can be one of the most powerful steps toward healing and peace.

“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.”
— Sophia Bush

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You can celebrate how far you’ve come while still working toward where you want to be.

✨Clinician Spotlight: Sydney Meyer, PLPC

Meet Sydney: craft-loving, community-building, caffeine enthusiast 🤍

When Sydney isn't supporting clients, you'll likely find her exploring the Farmer's Market, walking downtown with a friend, getting creative with crafts, or hunting for unique treasures while thrifting and antiquing. She's a Scorpio (with a tattoo to prove it), and she's always happy with anything salty, crunchy, and caffeinated

Sydney brings experience working with adolescents, teens, college students, adults, and older adults in community mental health settings. She is passionate about helping clients ages 13 and up, with a special interest in working with college students and adults diagnosed with ADHD.

Her approach is rooted in building genuine connections and creating a space where clients feel safe, validated, and understood. Using a client-centered approach and drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sydney helps clients explore their experiences, strengthen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful growth and healing.

Sydney believes that being able to connect with people where they are is one of the greatest joys of being a therapist. She is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and fostering a sense of community, support, and belonging for every client she works with.

Sydney currently accepts Healthy Blue Medicaid, Home State Health Medicaid, Cigna, and private pay.

We are so proud to have Sydney on our team! 🤍🩵

✨Clinician Spotlight: Josh Cook, LCSW

Meet Josh: coffee-fueled, music enthusiast, and always down for a family game night 🤍

When Josh isn’t supporting clients, you’ll likely find him listening to music, grabbing coffee (or several), taking a walk on his lunch break, spending time with family, or snacking on Nilla Wafers. He’s a fall fan through and through, and says weekends lately have been all about discovering new cooperative board games with the family

Josh has spent much of his career in the mental health field, with experience supporting individuals in community mental health, outpatient settings, and working with those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He has worked with adolescents through older adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, substance use, and major life transitions.

His treatment approach includes evidence-based practices such as CBT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, EMDR, and DBT — helping clients build coping skills, process trauma, and move toward healing in a supportive, compassionate environment

With a strong background in trauma work and years of experience across different populations, Josh brings both knowledge and empathy into the therapy space, creating a place where clients feel understood and supported on their journey ✨
