Physical Therapy Residency Education is not new to us, but we are so excited to share that our program has recently undergone some major renovations that will enhance our residents’ learning and experience within the field of orthopaedics. New curriculum, new program design, a fantastic team of instructors and mentors, and SO many awesome learning opportunities lie ahead for the right candidates!

One of my favorite events to watch through the Olympic Trials (and Olympics themselves, come on Paris!!) is the swimming events. The athleticism required to compete at this level is incredible! 🤯

So proud to be part of a system that is among our nation’s leaders in orthopaedic health care!! “MU Health Care is one of only 11 health systems nationwide to have received this designation and is the only recipient in Missouri” 💪🏻

This certification requires advanced certification in at least three programs. MU Health Care’s advanced certifications include spine surgery, hip and knee replacement, and shoulder surgery.

(5/2/24) MU Health Care has received the Orthopedic and Spine Center of Excellence Designation from global independent certification provider DNV.

Today marks the fastest 10 YEARS ever at the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute! It is incredible to think how much this one place has impacted my career, my growth as a clinician, and offered so many pinch-me opportunities that never would have been possible without the team here. I am so grateful for the last decade (what?!) here and am looking forward to more bright spots ahead!!
