This recognition is incredibly meaningful, but the truth is… these nominations aren’t just about me.

They’re about every client who has chosen to do the incredibly hard work of healing.

Therapy isn’t easy. It takes courage to face painful memories, challenge unhealthy patterns, sit with difficult emotions, and choose growth over comfort. Every breakthrough, every tear, every difficult conversation, and every small victory belongs to the people willing to show up and do the work.

So while I’m honored to be named a finalist for Best Mental Health Professional and Best Mental Health Services/Clinic, I want to say thank you to my clients. Thank you for trusting me with your stories. Thank you for allowing me to witness your resilience. Thank you for showing up, even on the days you didn’t feel like you could.

It is a privilege to walk alongside you. Your courage inspires me every single day.

This recognition belongs to all of us. ❤️

One of the hardest truths about relationships is this:

To be truly connected to another person, we have to be willing to be vulnerable.

And vulnerability can feel terrifying because it comes with the possibility of being misunderstood, rejected, or hurt.

So many of us protect ourselves by keeping people at arm’s length, avoiding difficult conversations, or pretending we’re “fine.” Those defenses make sense—they often developed for a reason. But they can also keep us from experiencing the deep connection we long for.

Therapy is a place where you don’t have to have it all together. It’s a safe space to unpack your story, understand the walls you’ve built, and learn how to connect with yourself and others in healthier ways.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying everything alone, you don’t have to navigate it by yourself.

💚 I’m currently accepting new clients for telehealth counseling.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d love to walk alongside you.

God is closing a door that kept hurting you so He can lead you into a place that restores you.

Right now, it may not feel that way.

All you feel is the loss.

The quiet.

The empty space where something once lived.

Your mind keeps going back, replaying what was, wondering why it ended like this… and why God didn’t step in sooner.

But what you can’t see yet is this:

That door you’re grieving was never meant to hold your future.

It wore you down.

It pulled at your peace.

It asked you to endure things you were never meant to carry long-term.

God saw it all.

The tears you wiped away.

The silent prayers you whispered.

The moments you stayed longer than you should have because you hoped it would change.

Closing that door wasn’t rejection.

It was mercy.

Because healing can’t fully grow in the same place that caused the wound.

God knew you might have stayed—out of love, out of habit, out of fear of what comes next.

So He stepped in and did what your heart struggled to do.

And now… He’s leading you somewhere new.

What He’s opening for you won’t feel heavy like before.

It won’t require you to lose yourself to keep it.

It won’t leave you constantly drained or uncertain.

It will bring peace.

It will bring rest.

It will give your heart room to breathe again.

And healing won’t come all at once—but it will come.

Slowly.

Gently.

Faithfully.

You are not being punished.

You are being protected.

This ending isn’t the loss you think it is—it’s God clearing space for something that won’t hurt you the same way.

So keep walking.

Even if it feels unfamiliar.

Even if it feels quiet.

Even if you don’t fully understand yet.

God is not leading you away from something good.

He’s leading you out of what was hurting you and into what will restore you.

The way forward is already open.

And with Him, you will heal.

Healing doesn’t mean pretending the hurt never happened. It means taking the next step, even when it’s hard.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, grieving, or simply exhausted from carrying life’s burdens alone, counseling can help.

✨ I currently have immediate telehealth openings available throughout Tennessee.

If you’re ready to invest in your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
