Yesterday was one of those moments that reminds me why Hawthorne Medical Equipment still matters.

A gentleman called needing a cane from his truck in the parking lot… but his had broken and he physically couldn’t make it inside the store. So I took the cane out to his car, completed the transaction there, and made sure he was taken care of.

He was incredibly appreciative and even tried to tip me (which I politely refused 😊).

We ended up talking for a few minutes about how convenient online shopping can be… but also how Amazon isn’t going to walk a cane out to your car when you can barely stand. They aren’t going to notice when you’re struggling or take a few extra minutes to help.

That’s the difference local care still makes.
