We had so much fun learning Safe Sitter skills Saturday.
Kids who participate will learn things like outdoor and indoor safety tips, how to respond in emergencies, online safety, basic first aid, choking relief, and CPR. We also learn things like how to change a diaper, behavioral management techniques for the different ages and stages, and how to start your babysitting (or lawn care, or pet care) business and why it's important to be responsible and courteous.
This class is geared primarily for kids 4th - 6th grade (though we absolutely accept older teens as well!) We learn through a variety of videos, workbook exercises, games and hands on activities.
These classes fill up fast! Our next class is Saturday, July 25th.

Safe Sitter is for kids from who are starting to stay home alone and/or babysit siblings or others.
In this course we cover topics like handling weather emergencies, recognizing unsafe situations and how to handle them, internet safety, ages and stages of child development and behavior management, child and infant CPR and choking relief, and much more!
Spots are limited (classes capped at 10 people).
