NAMI Mid-Carolina’s in-person Family Support Group is back this November, bringing families and friends together for real conversations, understanding, and encouragement.

Today is World Mental Health Day!

Sometimes, caring for your mental health looks like lacing up your sneakers for a jog, checking in on someone who’s having a difficult time, watching the sunset, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down.

Self-care doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive. Sometimes, the smallest moments bring the greatest sense of peace.

Today, we encourage you to be intentional about making time and space for your mental well-being. And while you’re caring for yourself, remember that a simple act of kindness or a listening ear can make a world of difference to someone else.

Breast cancer affects us all—patients, survivors, caregivers, families, friends, and communities. 💗

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NAMI Mid-Carolina stands with every person whose life has been touched by breast cancer. As we raise awareness for early detection, treatment, and research, we also recognize the emotional and mental health impact that can accompany a diagnosis.
