Men have pelvic floors too. 👏

And just like any other muscle group, pelvic floor muscles can become weak, tight, uncoordinated, or painful.

These muscles play an important role in:
✔️ Bladder control
✔️ Bowel control
✔️ Sexual function
✔️ Core support

If you're dealing with leakage, pelvic pain, ED, PE, constipation, urinary hesitancy, or pressure symptoms, you're not alone—and there may be more treatment options available than you realize.

👇 Did you know men have pelvic floor muscles, too?

As a pelvic floor therapist, I've spent years helping postpartum moms navigate recovery.

Then I became one.

While my education gave me knowledge, postpartum gave me perspective.

It reminded me that healing isn't just physical. It's emotional, mental, hormonal, and deeply personal. EVERY BODY is different.

If you're in the postpartum season right now, know this: you don't have to "bounce back." Your body has done something incredible, and recovery deserves patience, support, and grace.

Comparison is the thief of joy. We cannot compare ourself to anyone else because each experience is differently. Never once have I treated someone postpartum that presents the same as someone else. It doesn't exist. There are way too many variables to consider.

Which lesson resonates most with you?

This is one of the most common things I hear from patients. " I thought it was normal" then it got worse and started to impact daily life.

Many people spend years living with symptoms like leaking, pelvic pain, painful periods, pressure, constipation, or pain with intimacy because they've been told it's just part of aging, motherhood, stress, or being a woman. Over time you learn to deal with it, but then it gets WORSE.

You should not have to deal with it because it's common. Remember common does not mean normal.

Your body is designed to move, function, and live without constantly worrying about pain, pressure, or bathroom habits.

If you've been ignoring symptoms because they're not "bad enough," consider this your reminder:

✨ You don't have to wait until things get worse to seek help
✨ You deserve answers
✨ You deserve support
✨ You deserve to feel confident in your body
✨️ You do have have to ALWAY put your needs in front of others. Even your kids. They need a strong confident momma that takes care of herself so she can take care of them, physically and mentally.

Swipe through to see some of the most commonly overlooked pelvic floor symptoms.

Which one surprised you the most? Let us know below. ⬇️

💛 Save this post for later and share it with someone who needs to hear that these symptoms aren't something they have to "just live with."
