Back for its 12th year, Camp Open Arms is giving children with limb differences an unforgettable week filled with friendship, confidence, and fun as campers enjoy dancing, a movie night with Trunk or Treat, and a family outing to Hersheypark. This year’s theme is Candyland. 🍭

Founded by Dr. Joshua Abzug, pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at University of Maryland Golisano Children's Hospital (UMGCH) and professor of orthopaedics and pediatrics at University of Maryland School of Medicine, the free camp is a collaboration between UMGCH and the University of Maryland Department of Orthopaedics. Made possible through generous donations from individuals and organizations, Camp Open Arms welcomes children from across the country for this one-of-a-kind experience.
