✨ Big News from Beyond The Battle! 💜🎗️

We’re excited to introduce our High School Survivorship Initiative—a new signature program created to support pediatric cancer survivors in grades 9–12 as they prepare for the transition into young adulthood.

This initiative is designed to provide guidance, resources, connection, and encouragement as students navigate life beyond treatment and prepare for what’s next—whether that’s college, careers, or becoming more independent.

Because survivorship doesn’t end when treatment does. It deserves support every step of the way.

💜 Reflecting on the First Half of 2026 💛

The first six months of 2026 have been all about growth, connection, and laying the foundation for an even bigger impact.

Beyond The Battle has spent this year strengthening our organization, building community partnerships, and planning meaningful programming for young adult pediatric cancer survivors and caregivers. Every conversation, meeting, and opportunity has brought us one step closer to creating a space where survivors can connect, heal, and thrive.

✨ Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished:
• Spoke at the Faith Fighters 2026 Banquet, where our founder, Niyana Thorpe, shared her childhood cancer survivorship journey and the mission behind Beyond The Battle.
• Celebrated recognition at the South Carolina Governor’s Volunteer Awards, honoring our commitment to serving pediatric cancer survivors and caregivers across South Carolina.
• Participated in the Paint for Prevention Cervical Cancer Awareness Event, where we shared resources, educated attendees about survivorship, and connected with community members and partner organizations.

As we move into the second half of the year, we’re excited to launch the programs we’ve been working so hard to prepare! From Zoom support meetings and educational conversations to in-person activities, wellness events, and opportunities to build lasting connections, we can’t wait to bring our community together.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Beyond The Battle along the way. Your encouragement, partnerships, and belief in our mission continue to make this work possible.
