Resident Spotlight

Gloria worked as a nurse helping many lives during her career. She's still making a huge impact on our lives here at Brownstone with her every day kindness and willingness to always offer a helping hand. You'll either find her outside in the garden or hanging around the dining table chatting with our staff and residents. She's our busy body here, and she loves jamming out to some good music. She's a live jukebox as she somehow seems to know just about every song.
We can always count on Gloria to share a smile and a laugh.
Here's to Gloria for helping make Brownstone a very special place to be.

Everyone had their hair curled this morning. Aren't these ladies gorgeous?!

We enjoyed some strawberry pancakes with whipped cream for breakfast before heading out on the deck to soak up this beautiful weather.

Also, today is national watermelon day! We made sure to eat our share.
We have two of the cutest watermelons growing in our garden. We're excited for them to grow grow grow!

What's going on at Brownstone today?

Well...
Gloria amazes me with how she seems to know the words to EVERY song!
Lorraine has been working on her tan all summer long.
Rosemary has been enjoying watching the birds this afternoon.
Sue is inside taking her beauty nap.

We've got some bbq pulled pork in the crock pot for dinner and have been picking some fresh cherry tomatoes from our garden to snack on.
The Great British Bake Off has been running a marathon in our home.
It's a Wednesday that feels like a weekend here.
We're taking advantage of all of the summer vibes we can get!
