The Wisdom of the Mushroom!
This morning I found this beautiful mushroom rising like a parasol from the grass!
What fascinates me most about mushrooms is that what we see is only a tiny part of the story.
Beneath the soil lives an intricate network of mycelium… vast threads of connection that weave through the earth, linking trees, plants, water, nutrients, and life itself.
Mycelium helps forests communicate. Trees can share resources. Nutrients can move where they are needed most. The health of one part of the ecosystem often depends upon the unseen connections beneath it.
Perhaps we are not so different.
Many of us spend our lives believing we must carry everything alone, yet beneath the surface of our lives exists an invisible network of support…
Friends who hold us when we stumble,
Ancestors whose wisdom still guides us,
Communties that nourish us,
The land itself,
And those quiet relationships that remind us of who we are!
The mushroom emerges only when the conditions are right.
Not because it forces itself to appear, but because it is supported by an entire hidden world beneath it.
Perhaps our own growth works much the same way.
We are not meant to thrive through isolation.
We flourish through connection!
Sometimes the strongest roots are the ones we cannot see.
AND SO IT IS! 🙌🍄🟫🍄🙌
