🌲 Nature, smiles, and fresh air! Our residents had an incredible time at Bradford Woods for our special summer camp retreat. From peaceful walks under the canopy of trees to sharing stories around the game table, it was a beautiful reminder of the joy of nature and community.

Everyone loved breaking out of their daily routines to try camp activities, soak up the sunshine, and connect with each other in such a serene setting.A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Bradford Woods for making our adventure so comfortable, accessible, and unforgettable. We are already looking forward to our next outdoor getaway! 💚

❤️ Keeping Couples Together at Silver Oaks

After about a week at Silver Oaks, this couple is already grateful to have found a place where they can stay together while she focuses on her rehabilitation.

As her husband’s full-time caregiver, being separated was never something they wanted. We were happy to welcome them both to Silver Oaks so she could receive the care and therapy she needs while continuing to have her husband by her side.

They chose Silver Oaks after hearing about the wonderful care a gentleman they knew had received here in the past. His experience gave them confidence that Silver Oaks would be the right choice for them — and we’re so happy to have them here! 💙

Silver Oaks has been recognized as a 2026 recipient of the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) for demonstrating systematic growth in quality care. This distinction is the second of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program The program honors long term and post-acute care providers across the nation that have demonstrated their dedication to enhancing quality care for the residents they serve. The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process in which organizations are reviewed and evaluated by trained experts against the nationally recognized Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework. The framework helps providers strengthen organizational performance, improve outcomes, and enhance the quality of care for residents. At the Silver level, organizations demonstrate how they systematically improve performance and achieve results through effective approaches and processes that are deployed throughout the organization.

🎼Music teachers make the world a better place! For Leah, music has always been more than a sound, it has been a lifelong passion and a way of bringing joy to others. As a music teacher, she spent years helping others discover the beauty, emotions, and connection that music can bring. Her Live A Dream wish was to experience that magic again and enjoy live music in her community.

So Leah headed to the Summer Mixtape Music series on the Bartholomew County Library Plaza, where she enjoyed live music alongside her children! There was laughter, family, beautiful music, and the joy of music! 🎼
