An interesting update from FDA today on the continued growth in menopausal hormone therapy.

FDA reports that increased demand for estradiol transdermal patches is making some patients’ usual products more difficult to readily access in certain locations, even as the supply of FDA-approved patches has nearly doubled over the last year.

The agency also notes that demand increased following its November 2025 action requesting changes to menopausal hormone therapy labeling.

For providers and pharmacy partners, it’s a good reminder that as HRT adoption grows, the supply chain has to grow with it.
