🦌✨ We had some unexpected visitors this morning… a whole deer family came to tour the playground!

They said they were looking for a school with great outdoor space, friendly staff, and plenty of room to frolic. 🌳💚

Honestly… we think they’d fit right in.
Although we might need to order bigger nap cots. 😅🛏️

🧒👶💙 Our Pre-K Kermit friends have been learning all about how our bodies grow, move, and change throughout life! As we explored how we've grown since we were babies, the children had so much fun looking at childhood photos and guessing which teacher was in each picture. 📸✨

After sharing their predictions, they voted on who they thought each baby picture belonged to. There were lots of laughs, surprises, and thoughtful discussions about how everyone changes as they grow!

Learning about our bodies helps children understand their own growth and development while celebrating the unique journey of every person. 🌟

🩵💙 Our Baby Bear Classroom explored the world through their senses today! Using washcloths soaked in warm and cold water, they touched, squeezed, and discovered different temperatures and textures. ✨

Sensory experiences like these help support cognitive development, build language skills, and encourage curiosity about the world around them. We loved watching their little faces light up with each new discovery! 🥰

Dear Gethsemane Family,

Happy 4th of July!

I hope you enjoy a wonderful day with family, friends, good food, and perhaps even a few fireworks. As we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, I pray you have a safe and joyful holiday!

As the festivities wind down, I hope you’ll join us for worship tomorrow morning at 9:30am.

We’ll be reflecting on Jesus’ words from Matthew 11 and exploring a challenging question: What happens when our love of country begins to compete with our love of Christ?

In a world increasingly shaped by division, fear, and the pursuit of power, Jesus invites us into a different way—the way of humility, compassion, and love. Together we’ll consider what it means to choose the power of love over the love of power and why that message may be more important today than ever.

I know holiday weekends can make it tempting to sleep in or stay home, but I’d love to see you in worship as we gather around God’s Word, God’s Table, and one another. 🙂

Have a blessed and safe 4th of July, and I’ll see you tomorrow morning!
