Meet Tarowyn Shields and her practice Tarowood Counseling: a mental health counseling practice made for and by Autistic adults!
Tarowood is a private counseling practice dedicated to serving adults on the spectrum, with a focus on those of marginalized genders. Through a blend of autism-led research, lived experience, and an affirming approach, I focus on helping clients build acceptance, identity, and community while learning how to navigate the complexities and struggles of life. I also cultivate a safe and affirming place for LGBTQIA+ clients and those with diverse relationship structures.
