Speaker Spotlight: Dr. Mark N. Charrette

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Mark N. Charrette to the OSCA Annual Convention!

A 1980 summa cm laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Charrette has dedicated his career to teaching chiropractors around the world. He has presented more than 1,700 seminars worldwide and is a frequent guest speaker at 12 chiropractic colleges.

His expertise includes extremity adjusting, biomechanics, and spinal adjusting techniques, with seminars focused on a practical, hands-on approach that you can take straight into your practice. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Charrette is a former All-American swimmer, author of a book on extremity adjusting, and creator of an instructional video series.

Today, September 18, we celebrate Chiropractic Founders Day and recognize the history, growth, and lasting impact of the chiropractic profession.

On this day in 1895, D.D. Palmer performed the first chiropractic adjustment, marking the beginning of a profession that would continue to evolve and grow for generations.

From the early days of chiropractic to the modern practices we see today, the profession has continued to adapt, advance, and serve patients across Ohio and beyond.

As we celebrate where chiropractic began, we also look ahead to where we're going.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Alan Sokoloff to OSCA Convention 2026! With more than 39 years of clinical experience and an impressive career in sports chiropractic, Dr. Sok has worked with athletes at every level—from professional teams to collegiate programs and international competitions. He has served as the team chiropractor for the Baltimore Ravens since 1999, as well as the Baltimore Orioles, and has been involved with the University of Maryland Sports Medicine Team for decades.

SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT: CAMILLE ELDRIDGE!

We’re excited to welcome Camille Eldridge to !

Camille brings nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, medical billing, and compliance to the chiropractic profession. Her journey began in 1996 with her family’s first chiropractic practice, where she served as both Office Manager and Billing Manager. Through that experience, she gained valuable, hands-on knowledge of practice operations, revenue cycle management, and regulatory compliance.

Today, Camille holds multiple AAPC credentials, including Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), and Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO). She has also been part of the Gold Star Medical Business Services team since 2019.

With her extensive experience and practical understanding of the challenges chiropractic offices face, Camille brings valuable insight that you can take back to your practice.

Thank you to everyone who joined OSCA’s Quarterly Member Coffee on August 27. The meeting provided members with updates and opportunities for discussion on several important topics, including:

• 2026 OSCA Annual Conference highlights, including conference pricing, the Early Career Doctor Track, and the “Through the Decades” Awards Dinner theme
• Early Career membership options
• Director elections for even-numbered districts (2, 4, 6, 8, and 10)
• The upcoming Ohio Practice Survey, launching September 1
• Upcoming OSCA events and schedule updates
• Member questions, feedback, and open discussion

The Ohio Practice Survey will open September 1 and close September 12, with results to be shared during the Membership Meeting at the OSCA Convention on October 3.
