Happy Boss’s Day! 🎉

Great leaders know that supporting employees goes beyond deadlines, meetings, and performance goals. It also means supporting the people behind the work.

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through the Pastoral Institute gives employees access to confidential counseling and support when life feels overwhelming, whether they are navigating stress, anxiety, grief, family concerns, workplace challenges, or major life transitions.

Because sometimes one of the best benefits a boss can offer is simply making sure employees know: you don’t have to handle everything alone. This Boss’s Day, we celebrate leaders who invest in healthier, stronger, and more supported workplaces. 💙

OCD is more than being organized, liking things “just right,” or having certain routines. Obsessive-compulsive disorder can significantly impact a person’s everyday life.

During OCD Awareness Week, October 11–17, we’re raising awareness, challenging misconceptions, and reminding our community that support is available.

If you’re struggling with OCD or other mental health concerns, call the Pastoral Institute to schedule an appointment or visit our website to learn more about our counseling services.

OCD is real. Support is available. Hope is possible.

Today is a reminder that mental health is an important part of overall health, and everyone deserves access to compassionate support.

For many people, the cost of counseling can stand between them and care. The Pastoral Institute’s HOPE Fund helps remove that barrier by providing financial assistance for counseling services to individuals and families in need.

This World Mental Health Day, you can help someone in our community take the next step toward hope and healing. Make a gift to the HOPE Fund and help ensure that cost does not prevent someone from receiving compassionate mental health care.

October 8 is DAF Day, a day dedicated to inspiring giving through donor-advised funds.

If you have a donor-advised fund, you already have charitable dollars set aside to make a difference. Consider putting those funds into action by supporting the Pastoral Institute.

Your DAF gift helps us provide compassionate counseling, train the next generation of mental health professionals, and bring education, support, and wellness programs into our community. Every gift helps ensure that individuals and families have a place to turn when they need hope, healing, and support.

Recommend a grant to the Pastoral Institute through your donor-advised fund and help turn generosity into hope. đź’™

When Buffy Swinehart and her family were navigating her father’s terminal illness, they witnessed the emotional toll it took on someone they deeply loved.

After only a few counseling sessions at the Pastoral Institute, Buffy began to see a meaningful change in her father. In her words, “We had him back.”

Buffy’s experience is a powerful reminder that even during life’s most difficult seasons, compassionate mental health care can help individuals and families rediscover connection, healing, and hope.
We know there are many more stories of hope throughout our community. If the Pastoral Institute has made a difference in your life or the life of someone you love, we invite you to share your story. Your words may encourage someone else to take the first step toward getting the support they need.

Today, on National Psychotherapy Day, we recognize the power of compassionate, professional counseling to help people find hope, healing, and wholeness.
For many individuals and families, the cost of counseling can stand in the way of receiving the support they need. The Pastoral Institute’s HOPE Fund provides financial assistance so that more people throughout the Chattahoochee Valley can access quality mental health care, regardless of their ability to pay.

Your gift can help someone take the first step toward healing.
