Lovely Miss Pearl has always enjoyed her acupuncture sessions but the “spa” treatments have reached new heights of delight now she’s receiving them on her very own (incredibly comfortable) bed.

This beautiful light is Shelby. She is truly a delight and brightens every room that she enters. She is always so happy and brings her lovely, gummy smile for every appointment. She is receiving supportive acupuncture care while she is being treated with chemotherapy at the Auburn University Small Animal Teaching Hospital. I’m sure they receive as much joy from her visits as I do!!

Because he did so well with the initial treatment, we are gradually introducing electroacupuncture into his treatment plan. He was a champ today, and seemed to love it as he relaxed and slept through most of it. Additional leads will be added slowly as treatment continues.

Rocky is a handsome 17 year old who is receiving acupuncture for pain and difficulty having a bowel movement. Unfortunately in his youth Rocky had an injury that has likely led to some chronic changes which cause pain, making it difficult for him to pass stool.
During his first acupuncture session, just needles were used to see how he would tolerate it. As you can see by the way he settled into his favorite sleeping posture (covering his eyes), it went very well.

Teaching at The Chi University is always a wonderful experience. It was my privilege to help this group of talented and motivated veterinarians learn, and review, 156 acupuncture points.

This is handsome Chewy who has been receiving treatments for suspected disc and luxating patellar issues. He has the cutest face and occasionally rocks the best mohawk while enjoying his session.

Miss Autumn loves her “spa” treatment. She usually sings through the entire electroacupuncture session and then lounges around soaking up attention once the treatment is over.

Happy 15th Birthday to the lovely Miss Hannah!! She has been receiving treatments for her chronic kidney disease and is always a joy to have in the office.
