Rivers Edge Family Medicine Rivers Edge Family Medicine is a medical office that sees all types of patients, from babies to cent and Shelley Blackburn M.D. We close for lunch from noon-1pm.

Rivers Edge Family Medicine has been at its current location since January 2007. There are two physicians at the practice, Michael Weiss M.D. We also have two full-time Nurse Practitioners at the practice, Ashley Pennington and Erin Welch. We are open 7:00am-5pm Monday-Thursday, and Friday 7:00am-noon. We are often open from 9am-noon on one Saturday per month. We see babies, kids, adults, and every other patient all the way into the 100s!

Dr. Weiss has cared for our families with extraordinary kindness, patience, and compassion. His dedication has always gone far beyond medicine—he listened with an open heart, offered comfort with genuine warmth, and treated every person who came through his doors like family. As he spends his last day in the remarkable practice he built from the ground up, we honor not only his years of service, but also the lasting impact he has made on so many lives. He will be deeply missed and remembered with heartfelt gratitude.

If you're sick, we have a provider on-call whenever we are closed. For prescription refills please utilize your patient portal or call the office after the holiday.
