(LONG POST) ALL I CAN SAY IS TONIGHT WAS ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS!

Tonight, Columbus City Council officially recognized October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month!

A special THANK YOU to Councilmember Christopher L. Wyche for introducing this meaningful resolution!

I know several of our Councilmembers are my Facebook friends, and I just want to say THANK YOU FOR LOVING COLUMBUS, OHIO, THE WAY YOU DO! ❤️

As a woman living with a disability, a mother of a son with a disability, a business owner, and a disability advocate, TONIGHT WAS PERSONAL FOR ME!

Sometimes it's not about grand gestures. It's about making people feel SEEN, HEARD, VALUED, AND INCLUDED!

Thank you, Columbus City Council, for taking the time to celebrate the abilities, talents, and contributions of people with disabilities!
