Our CNA staff had an incredible time at the Dashain-Tihar ( ) Festival this past weekend in City of Reynoldsburg ! 🪔 Our team enjoyed a day filled of socializing and educating our community about the services that NCCC & CNA have to offer, singing and listening to live music 🎶, participating in traditional dances 💃, and savoring delicious cultural foods! 💚

🍂💚 We’re kicking off October with a little connection, relaxation, learning, and fun!

Our NCCC team came together for an all-staff day focused on something we value just as much as the work we do: our people. We started the morning with a delicious breakfast, plenty of team bonding, and some friendly NCCC trivia that put everyone’s knowledge to the test! 🧠🎉

And because taking care of others starts with taking care of ourselves, our staff had the chance to fully relax and recharge with massages. A huge thank-you to our amazing massage therapists for helping our team unwind! 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️

We were also grateful to learn valuable information from Dr. Horenstein with DigestWell Health, gaining new insight into caring for our health and well-being from the inside out.

At NCCC, we believe our employees deserve to be cared for, too. 💚 Our minds, bodies, and overall well-being matter—and we’re proud to create opportunities for our team to connect, recharge, and grow together.

Here’s to starting October feeling refreshed, supported, and ready for another month of changing lives! 🍁💚

One year ago today, the NCCC family lost one of our biggest supporters, our greatest cheerleaders, and a very special part of our NCCC family — Leava Pickard. 💙

Leava was our CEO’s mom, but her love for NCCC and the people we serve made her feel like family to so many of us. She believed deeply in helping others, showing up for people, lending a hand, and making someone’s day a little brighter.

Although we miss her more than words can say, we know that the best way to honor Leava is to keep doing what she did so naturally — helping others.

Today, on the first anniversary of her passing, we invite our NCCC family, friends, and community to join us in Leava’s Legacy Acts of Kindness Day.

💙 Do one intentional act of kindness in Leava’s memory.
💙 Then tell us about it. Share a photo, a story, or simply leave a comment telling us how you carried Leava’s legacy forward today.

It doesn’t have to be big. It just has to come from the heart.

Let’s fill this day with kindness in Leava’s honor and remind each other that one small act can have a much bigger impact than we may ever know.

Leava may no longer be here to cheer us on, but we can continue to carry her kindness forward.
