🎉Please join us in welcoming Molly Bean, MPH, to MHAOhio as our new Get Connected Program Manager! 🎉

Molly earned her Master’s in Public Health from The Ohio State University in 2022 and has since worked across the public health field, focusing on health disparities and social determinants of health. Much of her work has centered on serving youth in the Columbus area and expanding access to health care for historically underserved communities. She is especially passionate about destigmatizing mental health care and increasing access to care for rural and Indigenous populations.

In her spare time, Molly enjoys reading, hiking, and volunteering at an equine sanctuary.

Tri-Village Sertoma is once again hosting its annual Charity Challenge 1 Mile Walk for Mental Health Awareness
a is once again hosting its annual TVS Charity Challenge for Mental Health Awareness, a family-friendly 1-mile fun walk that has supported local charities since 2013. This year's event will benefit nonprofit organizations working to advance mental health awareness and support, including the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

Following the walk, participants are invited to enjoy a community cookout at beautiful Thompson Park. Gather your friends and family for a fun and meaningful day while helping raise awareness and support for mental health in our community.

Applications are now OPEN for the Central Ohio cohort of the Mid-Management Collaborative! 🎉 https://mhaohio.org/mid-management-collaborative/

This FREE six-month program provides training, support, and professional development opportunities designed to help you grow as a supervisor, manager, and future leader.

Participants will gain valuable tools to lead with confidence, and organizations will receive a $1,200 compensatory release stipend for each employee who successfully completes the program.

📅 Application Period: August 3–September 1, 2026. Applicants must be employed at an Ohio Department of Behavioral Health-certified organization.

Please join us in congratulating Jess Fannin, BS on her promotion to Director of the Franklin County Su***de Prevention Coalition (FCSPC)!

Throughout her time at MHAOhio, Jess has demonstrated exceptional leadership, a deep commitment to su***de prevention, and a passion for strengthening community partnerships. In her new role, she will lead the strategic direction of FCSPC, oversee program performance and evaluation, manage grant development and funding, guide the coalition's financial sustainability, and supervise key program staff to ensure continued impact across Franklin County.
