Today, we remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed by that day.

We honor the lives lost, the families and communities who continue to carry their memories, and the first responders, service members and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage and compassion in the face of tragedy.

May we continue to remember, reflect and come together with kindness, gratitude and a commitment to helping one another.

We will never forget.

Last month, Oakleaf Village of Columbus hosted a hiring event for Wallick Senior Living communities across the Columbus area. Our teams met with more than 125 candidates, and the event resulted in 43 new hires!

Since the event, our teams have continued supporting the new hires through pre-hire requirements, onboarding and the transition into their roles.

Thank you to our senior living executive directors and leadership, HR partners and recruiting team for coordinating the event and for their work supporting our new associates. 🧡

Today, our veterans had the honor of attending a beautiful dedication ceremony at the Columbus Metropolitan Library – Karl Road Branch.

The library unveiled a special space in the Children’s Department dedicated to helping young readers learn about our nation’s veterans, their service, and the sacrifices they have made to protect our freedoms. It is a meaningful investment in ensuring future generations understand and appreciate the legacy of those who served.

One of the most touching moments of the day was when students from Forest Park presented heartfelt letters of appreciation to the veterans in attendance. Their sincere words of gratitude brought smiles, reflection, and even a few tears, reminding us all that acts of kindness and remembrance have a lasting impact.

With so many community members gathered together, the ceremony was filled with reverence, gratitude, and respect. We are incredibly proud of our veterans and thankful to the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Forest Park students, and everyone who made this special day possible.
