Leadership starts with learning, collaboration, and a shared vision for the future. đź’ś
This past Saturday, July 25, members of the Cleveland Dental Hygienists' Association had the opportunity to attend the Ohio Dental Hygienists’ Association Leadership Retreat—a day dedicated to empowering dental hygienists to grow as leaders, strengthen our profession, and build meaningful connections across our association.
A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding speakers and leaders:
🦷 Kelsey Woolard, GPG for providing an informative legislative update and keeping us engaged on the issues impacting our profession.
🦷 Gretchen Matty, ODHA Speaker of the House for sharing valuable insights on navigating ODHA policies, procedures, and the Board of Trustees, as well as leading engaging breakout sessions.
🦷 Justin Nance for facilitating the Trustee breakout session.
🦷 Our Council Chairs for leading collaborative council workshops that encouraged participation, idea-sharing, and leadership development.
🦷 And a special thank you to ODHA President-Elect Stephanie Stringfield for inspiring attendees with this year’s theme, “Spark Mentorship, Ignite Growth,” reminding us that investing in one another strengthens our profession for generations to come.
We left the retreat inspired, equipped with new ideas, and energized to continue advocating for the dental hygiene profession. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a day filled with learning, mentorship, and collaboration.
Here’s to staying connected, supporting one another, and continuing to grow together as a dental hygiene community. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish next!
