We consider it a tremendous honor and privilege to have been chosen by you to provide medical care for your child. Our goal is to recognize problems early or to prevent them by regular well-child checkups during which all aspects of health,

growth, and development will be evaluated. We specialize in pediatric care, from when your child is a newborn in the hospital, through the challenging toddler years, through camp and school physicals, all the way up until your child is preparing to leave for college.

🤱 Breastfeeding Support Available at Pediatrics at Brookstone Centre

If you are an established patient at our practice and would like to meet with a lactation consultant, we are excited to welcome a wonderful lactation consultant to our office on Friday, July 24th.

Whether your baby is having trouble latching, experiencing feeding difficulties, or you simply need breastfeeding guidance and support, a lactation consultant can be incredibly helpful.

Appointments are limited so that each family has a full hour of dedicated time.

A busy and exciting Saturday at Pediatrics at Brookstone Centre!

In addition to our regular Saturday clinic, we were excited to offer penicillin allergy testing for several of our established patients.

Many children who were labeled as "penicillin allergic" because of a rash years ago may not actually be allergic. Since penicillin is an important antibiotic used to treat infections like strep throat, confirming whether an allergy is truly present can make a big difference in your child's future care.

A big thank you to the patients and families who trusted us, our amazing staff who came in on a Saturday, and the medical student from the Medical College of Georgia and his supervising physician for helping us implement this protocol.

If your child is an established patient at our practice and has a history of developing only a skin rash with penicillin, call our office on Monday to be added to our penicillin allergy testing list!

🚨 Parents: A Safety Warning About NeeDoh Toys 🚨

Are your kids as obsessed with NeeDoh squishy cubes as mine? These gel-filled sensory toys have become incredibly popular—but there's an important safety concern parents should know about.

A dangerous social media challenge is encouraging children to microwave NeeDoh toys. When heated, these toys can explode, causing severe burns and other injuries. They may also rupture if left in a hot car.

Please take a few minutes to talk with your children about this trend and remind them that toys should never be heated or placed in the microwave.
