Owning my own business comes with so many blessings, but one of the greatest will always be the freedom to openly talk about my faith.
It’s not the flexible schedule or being my own boss that means the most to me although that’s great, it’s the conversations.
The moments when a client feels comfortable enough to share their heart, their struggles, their victories, or simply talk about God’s goodness. Some appointments are filled with laughter, some with peaceful silence, and others become reminders of just how faithful God is.
I’ll never take for granted that He has entrusted me with a place where people feel safe, heard, and encouraged. If God opens the door for a conversation about faith, I’ll gladly walk through it. Being able to pray with someone, pray over someone, offer encouragement, or simply remind them that they are deeply loved by Christ is one of the greatest privileges of what I do.
Massage may be what brings people through my door, but serving others is my calling. If someone leaves feeling better physically and spiritually encouraged, then I’ve done far more than just my job.
To God be the glory for every client, every conversation, and every opportunity He places in my path. Those moments will always be one of my favorite parts of owning my own business. 🤍
