Our Women’s Postpartum Support Group at LifeWorks Counseling Group is a space for connection, encouragement, honest conversation, and community. A place to remind yourself that your feelings are valid, your experience matters, and you don’t have to navigate this season by yourself.

Who is supporting the woman who just had the baby?

LifeWorks Counseling Group is offering a Women’s Postpartum Support Group this fall! This will be a space for women to connect, share, and know they are not alone in the challenges and changes that come with postpartum life.

Led by our very own Joanna Stephens, APC, and Carsen Shytle, Master’s-level Clinical Intern, this 7-session group will provide a supportive and confidential environment to connect with other women.

✨Welcome, Carsen! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome Carsen to our LifeWorks team!

Carsen is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Troy University. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Auburn University.

She is committed to fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories. Her approach is rooted in authentic connection, compassion, and the belief that every person deserves to feel heard, encouraged, and valued. For clients who desire a Christ-centered approach, Carsen welcomes the integration of faith and prayer into the process.

She looks forward to working with women, children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and couples. Her interests include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and marriage/relationship concerns.

We cannot wait to see the impact she makes on our community and at LifeWorks!
