I earned a bachelor's of arts in Biology from Wellesley College in 1997, and a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California in 2002. Additional trainings and certificates include:

It might surprise you that the question I get most often from former patients or people I have not seen in a while is this:

“Are you still doing acupuncture?”

It catches me off guard every time because, truthfully, I haven’t taken much time away from acupuncture since I began practicing in 2002.

My first thought is always, Of course I’m still doing acupuncture!

But I understand why people ask.

"I saw a menopausal patient last week who was frustrated with her weight gain.

“I don’t understand why I’m not losing weight,” she said. “I’ve increased my activity; I eat healthy and nothing has changed. It’s so frustrating!”

Then, almost under her breath:

“I did have cake and ice cream last night.”

I waited.

“Have you gained weight?” I asked.

“No. But the scale is not budging.”

Happy Friday! ☀️

Summer is officially here.

The solstice has come and gone, and the Strawberry Full Moon is getting ready to shine a little more light on what we've been carrying—perhaps even on truths we've been ready to face for real.

Like many of you, I have a few adventures planned this summer. In between them, I'm grateful to continue offering both private and community acupuncture sessions.

It is always an honor to be part of your health journey!

I'll be taking a month-long sabbatical in September— to rest, learn, and refill my own well—so I can return with renewed energy, greater presence, and plenty of Qi to share with you.
